MAIN STREET – PARK CITY

Riverhorse

Riverhorse on Main is among an elite list of top restaurants in the nation and is one of the oldest and most distinguished restaurants on Park City’s Historic Main Street. Signature dishes include their Macadamia Nut Encrusted Alaskan Halibut, Trio of Wild Game, and the Local Rainbow Trout.

Local Take: $$$ Main St favorite. Fish is featured but steaks are excellent.  Live music, great atmosphere.  Sit in main dining room.  HIGHLY recommended.

The Bridge Café and Grill

The Bridge Cafe & Grill serves American food with a Brazilian Flair. Located directly at the bottom of the Town Lift on Main Street, it has one of Park City’s best patios for spectacular outdoor dining.

Local Take:  Excellent breakfast. Right near PC lift at bottom of Main St. HIGHLY recommended.

Firewood

Firewood’s glowing ambiance reflects both its cuisine and its turn-of-the-century industrial décor. Chef John Murcko brings a long resume of exquisite fine dining plus local Park City savvy, delivering a truly unique culinary experience in the heart of the town’s historical Main Street.

Local Take:  $$$ As name suggests, wood grilled meats featured. Smaller portions but excellent. HIGHLY recommended.

The Eating Establishment

Opened in 1972, The Eating Establishment has been a beloved diner to three generations of locals and visitors to Park City.

Local Take:  HIGHLY recommended for breakfast.  Lunch/dinner just ok.

501 Main

Seasonal, unpretentious eatery for American fare, including vegetarian/vegan options, with a bar. Family-owned. A combination of locally sourced ingredients, our seasonal menus feature robust flavors and distinct presentations.

Local Take:  Main St staple.  Reasonable prices. Good casual lunch/dinner.  Locals favorite. Drafty by front door.

Prime Steak House

Serving U.S.D.A. Prime Beef perfectly aged and hand- selected, then broiled to perfection. Prime Steak House and Piano Bar is located right across the street from the town lift at the bottom of Historic Main Street. After a hard day of skiing or for an elegant night out on the town, Prime Steak House and Piano Bar is in the heart of it all. Live Music nightly.

Purple Sage

Since 2003 the Purple Sage has been serving American western cuisine in the Rocky Mountain Bell telephone building in the middle of Historic Main Street. House specialties include the award winning meatloaf, sugar and chile cured duck, local free range beef, and fresh Utah trout.

Local Take:  Easy-to-miss location on Main.  Unique menu and décor.

350 Main

Striving to use local and sustainable food sourced right here in the Wasatch Mountains, 350 Main invites you to enjoy contemporary American cuisine in an upscale, mountain dining atmosphere. They create simple, classic and comfortable cuisine by using traditional preparation techniques. Also home to Alpine Distilling, 350 Main does offer their Gin Making Experience for up to 8-12 guests.

Local Take:  tenderloin nachos – huge. Hot chocolate amazing. Good soups.

710 Bodega

A modern style Spanish Tapas Bar located on Main Street Park City. Bodega mixes traditional plates with their own takes on the classics in a relaxed setting.

Café Terigo – Main Street

A wonderful place for lunch or dinner on Main Street with a historical feel. Café Terigo is a French- Italian inspired restaurant serving fantastic dishes such as a Veal and Pork Bolognese, Herb Breaded Utah Trout, and Smoked Salmon Pasta Salad.  Information | CafeTerigo.com

Local Take: very good summer lunch spot.

Chimayo

The food at Chimayo captures the best characteristics of the cuisine of the Southwest and rolls them seamlessly together with the more refined and elegant style of French-American gastronomy. Located on Main Street, Chimayo has a fun, southwestern atmosphere and a wonderful cocktail menu.

Local Take:  Fun Mexican style atmosphere. PC staple. Pricey $$$$ for Tex/Mex.

Courchevel Bistro

Club Bistro Named for Park City’s sister city in the French Alps, and situated within the historic Coal & Lumber building where Main Street meets Heber Avenue, Courchevel Bistro is a celebrated taste of Talisker Club for all of Park City. The venue features bistro dining, Sunday Brunch, a café/bakery and coffee-dessert bar as well as a Members only private indoor-outdoor lounge and patio.

Local Take: Very good French style food. Open kitchen. Sit upstairs.

Fletcher’s

Fletcher’s serves fresh, local, and modern American cuisine. Fletcher’s prides themselves on healthy food, grass-fed meats, organic chicken, local produce, and handcrafted cocktails in a fun and fresh atmosphere.      

Local Take: reasonably priced comfort food.  typically, little or no wait.

Grappa

Nestled at the top of Historic Main Street, every detail of the rustic, Italian, country farmhouse gives Grappa a romantic atmosphere. Grappa is known for elegant presentation, attention to detail and fine service. From classics like Calamari Fritti, to their famous Grapes & Gorgonzola and Osso Bucco, there is something for everyone to love at Grappa.

Local Take:  Great building/décor Casual Italian.

Silver Star Café

New American fare with global accents served in a cozy space with a chic summertime patio. The owners describe Silver Star Café as a community gathering place where locals and guests are equally welcome, a place that feels like home, and that focuses on great food, ambiance, service and acoustic music.

Local Take:  Bottom on PC ski lift on far side.  Great porch for summer lunch or dinner.

Mustang

American Contemporary Cuisine with East-meets-West Flare, The Mustang uses only the freshest ingredients, as well as, seasonal fruits and vegetables in their dishes to bring you award-winning cuisine. The Mustang has been a Park City favorite since 2004.

Shabu

At Shabu, “Asian Fusion” takes a freestyle spin. They’ve crafted a lively food menu, impressive sake list and imaginative setting that delights at every turn.

Davanza’s Pizza

Best pizza in town for a quick/casual bite.

Local Take:  Hole in wall pizza on Park Ave.  Delivery available.  Limited seating.

MID MOUNTAIN – DEER VALLEY

7880 at Stein Eriksen Residences

Goldener Hirsch – Silver Lake Village

Royal Street Café at Silver Lake Lodge

Open for Lunch and Dinner at the Silver Lake Village. Menu options include creative appetizers such as fresh Dungeness Crab Tower or Yellowfin Tuna Tartare. Also available are delectable panini sandwiches, Deer Valley’s Turkey Chili, creative salads and specialty entrees. Children’s and take- out menus are available as well as fine wines, beer and refreshing cocktail.

Local Take: Best mid mountain lunch food.  HIGHLY recommended for ski on/off

The Glitretind at Stein Eriksen Lodge

The Glitretind restaurant is the height of culinary excellence, providing guests with an extraordinary global cuisine experience. The setting is warm and elegant, perfect for a romantic rendezvous or a classic dining experience. And for lodge guests, this dining treat is only a few steps from their room.

Local Take: $$$ High end main dining room.  Biggest wine list in town.  Bar is good for casual drinks/decent bar food menu.  Best burger and meatballs. Good place to watch a ballgame. Live music, ski apres.

Apex at Montage – Empire Pass

Montage Deer Valley’s signature restaurant, is a celebration of classic continental cuisine in an unforgettable mountain setting, offering guests a relaxed yet refined dining experience. The menu is a creative revival of iconic dishes, focused on fresh, and local ingredients.

Cena – Chateaux Deer Valley

Cena Ristorante and Lounge, located at The Chateaux at Deer Valley is a casual, family-friendly restaurant featuring a unique blend of fresh Italian cuisine from its wood-burning oven. Children’s menu, fine wines and a full liquor menu are also available.

Local Take:  In house dining for The Residences.  Good pizzas/pastas.

Deer Valley Fireside Dining at Empire Lodge

Take magical horse drawn carriage to fireside dinner.

Local Take:  $$$Special occasion type of evening.  Unlimited dining at each fireplace. Go hungry.  Food is amazing.  Very fun experience.

The Mariposa at Silver Lake Lodge

Enjoy an evening of memorable dining at The Mariposa in Silver Lake Lodge, Deer Valley’s premier tasting room dining experience. Six- and eight-course tasting menus are offered, along with full vegetarian menus, highlighting decadent ingredients and the highest-quality seasonal and local products available.

Local Take: Inside Silver Lake Lodge. Free parking. Cozy atmosphere.  Excellent food.
